Objective: Students will be able to format papers in MLA style.
1. We took vocabulary quiz #1.
2. Power word: inaudible (dis-, dif- = away from far from; miss, mitt = to send)
3. We spent a few minutes working on our vocabulary cards.
4. We learned about MLA formatting style and watched how to format our character analysis papers in MLA format.
5. We spent the rest of the class period in the computer lab working on drafts of our character analysis paper.
For next time: Bring 3 copies of a first draft for your character analysis paper.
