How do different voices expose us to different experiences and ideas?
Objective: Students will evaluate the influence of a voice.
1. We used our Word of the Day lists to play a part of speech game for extra credit.
2. We discussed what symbols are. We each created a symbol by explaining the relationship between a tangible object and an intangible idea.
3. Together as a class, we read the remainder of The House on Mango Street and completed Writer's Notebook entry #12.
