Objective: Students will write focused and well-developed analysis paragraphs.

Homework: Pick and analyze an item for the Analyze Anything paper.

- We learned how to create a thesis to begin a focused analysis.
- We chose paragraph topics to develop our analysis.
- Together, we practiced writing several paragraphs using the TEXT format. (Use a Topic sentence to introduce the paragraph's focus. Use Evidence and eXplanation to develop support. Use a Tie-back sentence to connect back to the thesis.)
5. We previewed next week's Analyze Anything paper. We practiced using this sheet to prepare by filling it out with Mario Kart as an example.
