Focus: Who is in our class?
Objective: Students will 1) select key points to present to a peer audience and 2) listen respectfully to others to expand their social circles.
1. Starter: We each planned a presentation to introduce ourselves to the class by writing three things others should know about us on a 3x5 index card.
2. We listened as each member of our class introduced themselves and shared their completed Knight Shield.
3. We had a contest to see who could remember everyone's name and the things we shared.
4. Exit slip: On the back of our index cards, each student wrote one thing they learned they have in common with a classmate.
5. Homework: Bring your completed disclosure document signature page (if you haven't already).
