Focus: How well can we write on topics we've read about?
Objective: Students will monitor and evaluate their own focus while reading.
1. We read independently for 10-15 minutes.
2. We each filled out a reading log to summarize and reflect on what we read and evaluate our focus while reading.
3. We spent the rest of the class period completing individual writing samples.
