Objective: Students will evaluate characters' responsibility for events and defend their evaluation.
1. We spent 20 minutes reading Speak independently.
2. We participated in a "silent activity" and then completed WN #26. (See Mrs. Craft to make this up.)
3. We discussed why people keep secrets, the power of secrets vs. the power of how we respond to secrets, and how secrets are affecting the character of Melinda in Speak.
4. Individually, we finished reading part 3 of Speak and worked on completing a responsibility pie chart.
